This is one of a series of images, drawings and paintings I have been working on of tissue boxes.
There is something about boxes of clean, pristine tissues that are always available, just within reach, ready to help us clean up or wipe away tears.
Each time a tissue is used a new one presents itself - patiently waiting to be of service.
Many of the boxes sold in the shops are designed with subtle wording printed on the outside, such as comfort, soft, care.
I like the way these words reside on these items in our homes. They are like small, random, reassuring poems.
